The book edited by Angelo Campodonico concerns contemporary Anglo-American ethics, stressing in particular (see the introduction) the strict relationship between ethics of law (norms) and ethics of virtue in “Aristotelian” as well as “Kantian” authors as Alan Donagan, Alasdair Macintyre, Martha Nussbaum, Robert Audi (paper written by Angelo Campodonico), Thomas Scanlon and Onora O’Neill. The topic is introduced by a history of Anglo-American Ethics from the second half of the last century.
