LA VALUTAZIONE DELLA SOSTENIBILITA' DEGLI INTERVENTI SUL TERRITORIO: ESPERIENZE DI RICERCA

The central aspect addressed by the authors who contributed to this volume is the determination and characteristics of design support tools to facilitate and ensure sustainability in the architectural design: the main argument concerns the degree of simplicity and intuitiveness of the design tools related to the degree of design control and security of the level of "unsustainability" of the design, burdened by an ever increasing amount of obligations. In this way the detection of relatively simple tools is part of the contribution of the authors that, through research experiences related to some "case studies", that cover the whole extent of the architectural design activity, from the territorial scale down to the control of the materials used in construction , describe existing methodologies as well as some other still to be tested. The text is ideal for students, young researchers and professionals who have to work at different scales of land transformation.
