Beyond Saturn is a metaphor indicating the intention to get over nihilism and to orientate philosophy to recover the utopian dimension as apt to project a common humane future in the openness of hope and the earnestness of responsibility. The attention paid to complexity and crises of present world has to join a search for theoretical and practical constructiveness, in order to pursue an encounter among a plurality of perspectives and to find a way out of the diseases of today. The chapter of the book deal with theoretical, ethical, political and religious issues set in a steady sequence: plurality and perspectivism, rehabilitation of utopia and hope, philosophy and faith facing nihilism, hermeneutic of present time, religion and politics for Europe, globalization as conflictive space, intercultural ethical convergence, cosmopolitical reorganization, interreligious dialogue.
