The study analyzes the response to different types of images in healthy subjects and individuals with cognitive impairments using neurophysiological tools. The goal is to understand how various visual stimuli can influence brain activity and emotions, especially in individuals with cognitive disorders such as dementia or attention deficits. The results show that images can trigger different reactions in the two groups, suggesting the presence of dysfunctions in emotional regulation and visual perception in individuals with cognitive impairments. The research emphasizes the importance of designing visual materials that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also accessible and safe for all, avoiding content that may cause discomfort or confusion. Studying the functioning of our sensory systems is indeed essential for correctly setting up images intended for wide dissemination to a broad audience.

Abstract
Studying the functioning of our sensory systems is indeed essential for correctly setting up images intended for wide dissemination to a broad audience.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
