The paper presents an ongoing research project that, starting from the crisis of the globalisation process and the liberist model, aims to revitalize liberal thought, which has flourished in the field of Enterprise Economics and Management. Through a robust research methodology, based on both a systematic literature review and the involvement of key stakeholders in the Italian economic system, the research aims to enhance the contribution that in the past the various Italian Schools of Enterprise Economics and Management have made to the construction of the capitalist model that gave rise to the Italian economic miracle, also participating in its government. The research proposal suggests that the end of liberism offers an opportunity to rediscover the foundations of the discipline of Enterprise Economics and Management, according to which the enterprise is viewed primarily as a holistic tool for economic and social development, guided by values that inherently contribute to the well-being of citizens and society.

Abstract
The paper presents an ongoing research project that, starting from the crisis of the globalisation process and the liberist model, aims to revitalize liberal thought, which has flourished in the field of Enterprise Economics and Management. Through a robust research methodology, based on both a systematic literature review and the involvement of key stakeholders in the Italian economic system, the research aims to enhance the contribution that in the past the various Italian Schools of Enterprise Economics and Management have made to the construction of the capitalist model that gave rise to the Italian economic miracle, also participating in its government. The research proposal suggests that the end of liberism offers an opportunity to rediscover the foundations of the discipline of Enterprise Economics and Management, according to which the enterprise is viewed primarily as a holistic tool for economic and social development, guided by values that inherently contribute to the well-being of citizens and society.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
