Virtual reality and immersive environments have gained significant attention for their potential for learning support. However, immersive concept maps have not yet been much investigated in the scientific literature. Starting from interactive concept maps, this paper introduces a novel approach to immersive concept maps that exploits motion and the depth dimension of virtual reality, along with the power of concept maps as graphic organizers, to enhance the learning process.

Abstract
