The present invention describes a method for producing an antimicrobial membrane based on electrospun polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) fibers functionalized with titanium oxide (TiO2) particles. The invention also describes their crystallization by hydrothermal processes and the properties of the membrane, suggesting different hygienic-sanitary applications.

Abstract
