The activity carried out from November 2019 to October 2022, in collaboration with the Research and Developement office of Sanlorenzo Spa, had the scope to deepen the topics of interest of the company and to provide design ideas for research. Sanlorenzo decided to believe in the arguments presented and showed interest in some of the themes of study. It was possible to deepen and develop activities thanks to the support of R&D resources. During these years, the themes addressed have been many, with the interaction of different Sanlorenzo actors, consultants and collaborators, including: - Collaboration with Dott.ssa Vienna Eleuteri for the study of the parameters of appraisal of the environmental impacts, defining which could be the parameters considered of greater interest for the studies in the nautical field. - Collaboration with SYBAss (Superyacht Builders Association) for in-depth analysis of environmental sustainability in the marine sector, analysing several case studies with the interaction of the SYBAss Sustainability Committee and with the Water Revolution Foundation. The Water Revolution Foundation has developed the Sustainability Reporting Guidelines to inform marine industry companies about what information and data they need to collect to get an overview of their current sustainability performance, so that you can create sustainability reports compliant with European legislation (NFRD, CSRD) and comply with and promote the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). - Data collection, analysis and evaluation of environmental impacts SCR motorization MTU M96 16V2000, with the support of Eng. Abstract

Federico Tocchi. - Participation in RINA Events - EEDI and Autonomous Ships free online conference. - Collaboration with Ing. Luca Daniele and Ing. Francesca Carozzo in reference to the research and validation of "sustainable" materials as an alternative to those commonly used in the marine industry. Some of the results obtained from the projects listed above, carried out during the last few years, have generated new and further design ideas, still in the studio by Sanlorenzo.
