The possibility of detecting faulty elements in steerable antenna arrays based on measurements of the radiated electromagnetic field has a key relevance in several scenarios. However, since the related inverse problem is affected by a severe ill-posedness, the development of specific algorithms is required for its solution. In this contribution, the problem is solved through a non-standard regularization approach formulated outside the common framework of Hilbert spaces. The algorithm is validated in the presence of numerically simulated data.

Abstract
The possibility of detecting faulty elements in steerable antenna arrays based on measurements of the radiated electromagnetic field has a key relevance in several scenarios. However, since the related inverse problem is affected by a severe ill-posedness, the development of specific algorithms is required for its solution. In this contribution, the problem is solved through a non-standard regularization approach formulated outside the common framework of Hilbert spaces. The algorithm is validated in the presence of numerically simulated data.File in questo prodotto:
