Abstract
The conspicuous number of data that you acquire and rework in the preservation process, sometimes risk being partly forgotten when the action ends, also because of the difficulties in reaching them (retrieval, filing, query and extraction of information, possibility of implementation during the various stages of the work and by different operators). The paper wants to show a comparison between different processing technique of managing the data acquired analysing, through the case study of the wooden roof of Santa Maria Assunta dell Pieve (Novi Ligure); moreover we carried out the topographic survey, a diagnostic investigation about the condition of its trusses and their structural assessment. After a first stage, common to all the analysed techniques, consisting of giving back the topographic survey with software CAD, the same data, regarding materials, decay and diagnostic results, have been manually edited in a database, in GIS and BIM, paying special attention to the definition of the fields that characterize each element. This exercise wants to support a consideration about the advisability of employing the different techniques we analysed, particularly comparing their advantages and disadvantages, time requirements, the degree of information access and query chance, considering the theme of interoperability among the systems we employed.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
