La letteratura semicolta nel panorama editoriale italiano: alcuni esempi

This study analyses some autobiographies written by semi-educated writers who have crossed the boundaries of private writing with their publication. The research’s structure consists of three parts The introductory section describes In the introductory section the birth, since the seventies, and the growth of the interest in publishing this particular type of text. The second part is divided into chapters which are dedicated to the individual autobiographies; the analysis focuses on the linguistic facies in its various characteristics, from the graphic aspects through the morphosyntax up to the lexicon and the textual costants reserving some attention also to the expressive strategies of the writers and to the peculiarities that figurative language assumes. The third part highlights, considering the usual publishing modalities reserved to autobiographies, the main peculiarities of a corpus that documents the existence of the genre of letteratura semicolta in the Italian publishing context.
