Abstract
The modulation strategy, proposed in the technical literature to control the three-switch double-input bidirectional DC-DC converter, forces the converter itself to work in Continuous Conduction Mode at low-load and therefore efficiency drops significantly. In this paper, a novel modulation strategy, exploiting Discontinuous Conduction Mode at low-load, is proposed. Converter efficiency increase is evaluated with simulations in MATLAB/Simulink Plecs environment. Finally, the control is validated with experimental tests.File in questo prodotto:
