MR is able to depict anatomic details of the abnormality in hypothalamic-pituitary region.We report the results in 30 prepurbertal, hypopituitary subjects, aged 6 months-14 years.We analyzed:the MR patterns and their distribution in the patients;the prevalence of "birth traumas" in this group;the prognostic value and the ability to relate to clinical and hormonal data of the MR features.
