This article highlights how the philological contributions are fundamental in studying the Escuela de Salamanca, not only for the reconstruction of the thought of its authors, but also to clarify the continuity and/or discontinuity between the First and the Second Scholasticism, i.e. between Middle Age and Modern Age. Furthermore, the article also gives an overview of the manuscripts containing the reportationes of the students who attended the lectures of the Salamancan theologians, that are stored at European archives and libraries in Portugal, Italy and England. Finally, the article mentions a number of manuscripts containing the reportationes of some Masters of the School, not debated to date (mss. 1043, 1044, 1045 Angelica Library, Rome) and only recently studied by the author.

Abstract
1043, 1044, 1045 Angelica Library, Rome) and only recently studied by the author.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
