The recently-arisen approach named “integrative taxonomy” is aimed to study taxa boundaries from multidisciplinary and complementary perspectives. According to this approach, the delimitation of a new taxon should not rely only on one line of evidence. Erysimum L. (Brassicaceae) genus has an important diversification center in the western Mediterranean region. The species delimitation is difficult as a consequence of the morphological similarities among species, probably reflecting rapid speciation processes within the genus. Therefore, the recognized number of Erysimum species varies between 150 to 350 species, and 24 species of Erysimum occur in Italy. We used morphological, ecological and molecular evidences to verify species delimitation in Italian Erysimum species.

Abstract
We used morphological, ecological and molecular evidences to verify species delimitation in Italian Erysimum species.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
