The book intends to provide an orientation in the present global cultural crisis of sense and communication by elaborating philosophical premises for a mediation of plurality and unity, difference and universality. The crucial point is seen in developing a post-secular approach to presence and plurality of religions as well as a dialogical relationship among their followers so that they may recognize one another. The contribution of philosophy lies in clarifying the plural features of man’s being with others in the world as well as the lack of alternatives to opening oneself to the others, fairly understanding and critically facing one another, cooperating for a common self-understanding.
