Porto Petroli S.p.a has adopted a policy that aims at the. sustainability of its activities. Its corporate strategy integrates economic factors with social and environmental ones, through a responsible and sustainable management, enriched by the ongoing and systematic dialogue with all its partners The document was drawn up on the basis of the G3 Guidelines, which are currently the most used worldwide and were developed by the Global Reporting Initiative (Collaboration Centre of the Program for the Environment of the United Nations) This document is mainly structured in two parts: a first part includes the presentation of the Company, the commitment towards sustainability in the management of its business and the relation with the various stakeholders. A second part presents quantitative data related to the environmental, social and economic performances of the three-year period taken into consideration The work group appointed by Management saw the involvement of staff inside and outside the Company (University of Genoa, ARPAL, Genoa Port Authority, consulting companies). An external body (RINA) was contacted in order to eliminate any doubt on the self-reference character of the Report.
