The study analyzes the typologies and the historical phases, documented and not, to find the unity of the historical environment and architecture of Genoa historical Centre and its waterfront , with the objective of knowledge for the restoration project. It develops the codification and documentation for draw representation about town transformative processes as far as connecting elements between volumes and free spaces of urban historical environments are concerned, together with the decorative and urban finitures. We need a deep study about formal elements of the historical centre town , where we can find great medieval parts and suggestions, from the most archaic to the gothic, late-gothic, the seventieth and the ninetieth centuries transformations.
