If it is true that mathematics has evolved its own language of symbols in order to communicate, it is also true that, in recent years, mathematics has become so pervasive that it has prenated into fields that once seemed very far removed. It did this in the arduous attempt to become an instrument for "communicating" and for "interpreting" objects and techniques that are typical of words which target a vast public like that of design.
