Abstract

A new fragmentary imperial base from Sarzana (La Spezia) to be added to CIL XI 6956 and 6957. The same typology proposes new suggestions about the synchronous use of these bases, intended to imperial cult that was followed probably in the local Augusteum, in a span of time intervening from the middle of III century a. D. (engraved dedications to Tacitus and Carinus princeps iuventutis) until the tetrarchic age at least (engraved dedication to Maxentius). Other suggestions concern the allocations of these monuments inside the Augusteum.
