This book is one of the first analysis of Law n. 11/2005 (which substituted law n. 86/1989) on the adaptation of the Italian system of law to that of the European Union. The author analyses the good and the bad of the yearly communitarian law as the main instrument of adaptation to the EU Law and its relation with the other internal sources of law. The book highlights the responsibilities of State and Regions in front of the EU and the new European Constitution of 2005 (which at that time was presumed it would have had very soon a legal value).
