Perspectives and Insights on (post)Industrial Landscapes and Heritage

This chapter critically introduces the rationale behind this volume, which explores the multifaceted legacy of (post)industrial landscapes and heritage, framing them as dynamic resources for the future. The contributions aim to foster critical thinking on how these landscapes and heritage can be reimagined as sustainable resources and liveable spaces, capable of balancing memory and innovation. Their conservation and development require interdisciplinary approaches to reinterpret the (post)industrial legacy as a valuable community asset.
