The former will be used to produce goods through a Cobb-Doulgas technology whereas the latter will be simply repaid to an external authority. Therefore, in each period, current output plus the proceedings derived from selling the capital purchased in the previous period at its current price can be used to finance current consumption, repay the debt incurred in the previous period and purchase new capital which is charged at the same price of the old one.

Abstract
In the reviewed article, Suneil Parimoo draws on a theoretical contribution set forth by Schmitt-Grohé and Uribe (2017, Ensayos sobre Política Economica, Vol. 35, No 82, pp. 2-9) by developing an intertemporal framework in which households endowed with logarithmic preferences decides about their current consumption as well as their preferred levels of the productive capital and the debt prevailing in the subsequent period. The former will be used to produce goods through a Cobb-Doulgas technology whereas the latter will be simply repaid to an external authority. Therefore, in each period, current output plus the proceedings derived from selling the capital purchased in the previous period at its current price can be used to finance current consumption, repay the debt incurred in the previous period and purchase new capital which is charged at the same price of the old one.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
