The contribution analyses the functions of labour law teaching in the contemporary university system. In light of social and generational changes and, not least, the current configuration of the subject, an increased participation of students in the definition of the syllabus of the course is proposed. Such a teaching model may not only enhance the effectiveness of teaching but may also contribute to a better formation of citizenship.

Abstract

The contribution analyses the functions of labour law teaching in the contemporary university system. In light of social and generational changes and, not least, the current configuration of the subject, an increased participation of students in the definition of the syllabus of the course is proposed. Such a teaching model may not only enhance the effectiveness of teaching but may also contribute to a better formation of citizenship.
