Abstract
In this "epochal change" where the "globalisation of indifference" is the prelude to the "culture of waste", it is necessary, according to Pope Francis, to go out towards the "existential peripheries" and find in the dialogue with the "different" that becomes a "resource", the path to follow for the realisation, through "healthy discernment", of that "civilisation of love" preconised by Vatican II. In this context, even the relationship with other religions and, therefore, with the traditions of which they are the bearers, represents a privileged instrument for building peace, which can generate "fruitful fruits" the more it deepens mutual knowledge in respect of diversity and in the search for sharing. This 'walking together' can find a simplification of the path and a harmonisation of the actions to be performed, the moment one is capable of bringing out a 'commonality' of values to be considered 'sacred'. One of these is certainly water, an essential and transversal element through which the traditions of the various religious expressions can write a shared narrative of its content, albeit in the peculiar differences that characterise its nature and for which each religion acts as spokesman, sometimes through protection of a juridical, as well as moral, order.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
