L'articolo tratta del film "Novia que te vea", della regista Guita Schyfter, liberamente ispirato al romanzo omonimo della romanziera messicana Rosa Nissán, che partecipa alla scrittura del copione. Oltre ad illustrare le tematiche già presenti nel romanzo, il film mette in luce anche altri aspetti della società multietnica messicana e aggiunge argomenti tipicamente ebraici. Inoltre, in tutto il film sono disseminati riferimenti alla letteratura patrimoniale e orale sefardita.
