La "rinascita" dei territori marginali. Dalla desertificazione socio-demografica a funzionale alla gentrification rurale e le life style migrations

The seminar was born as a continuation of the path started in March 2021 with the conference I territori locali fra valorizzazione endogena e fruizione turistica sostenibile (conference proceedings by Marina Marengo and Enrico Bernardini, GUP 2021 - open access). The outcomes of the conference and the interest of new Italian and foreign colleagues in the issues relating to the enhancement of the territories, as well as the interest of the students in the issues relating to the dynamics of the population in the local territories, prompted the organization of a new event, an international didactic seminar. The seminar addressed and analyzed aspects relating to the economic-social, cultural and demographic re-functionalization of marginal spaces in Italy and in other European countries. The publication of a second volume of the TetusLab series is planned for the types of the GUP, again open access.
