Continuous flow protocols have received much attention in recent years, and the advantages of flow chemistry are well documented by several reviews published in the recent literature. Biotransformation has been traditionally carried out in batch reactors. However, performing those transformations in a continuous flow fashion has been shown to be a more efficient method. Herein, we summarize some of the examples found from the literature for important transformations that are now well established under continuous flow conditions.
