Nuestra difícil relación con la verdad. La razón crítica en el mundo real

The essay examines - starting from Kant's theoretical conception of truth - the different aspects in which Kant deals with the problem of the concrete subjective relationship with truth, starting from the concept of Fürwahrhalten, and the particular difficulties that arise in these contexts. In particular, the relationship between persuasion and conviction, the concept of self-deception, the notion of faith, and that of Gewissen are considered. Finally, a general form of critical attitude is outlined that Kant seems to indicate as a means of overcoming these difficulties.
