The paper focuses on the relationship between bioclimatic design and environmental impact in the evolution of what is called a “solar city”. Since the ultimate goal of a sustainable project should be to reduce the overall environmental impact, it is appropriate to reflect on the relationship between building and site, considering that, from the settlement point of view, it cannot be said that many of the most famous interventions, from the 80s to today, are to be considered successful. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Abstract
The paper focuses on the relationship between bioclimatic design and environmental impact in the evolution of what is called a “solar city”. Since the ultimate goal of a sustainable project should be to reduce the overall environmental impact, it is appropriate to reflect on the relationship between building and site, considering that, from the settlement point of view, it cannot be said that many of the most famous interventions, from the 80s to today, are to be considered successful. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.File in questo prodotto:
