This text introduces the elaboration of a thematic line based on an economic model, Blue Economy, and a design field, Service Design. The binomial combines theory and action, thus becoming a method for developing new research and project proposals and for shaping innovative ecosystems. The paper explains the compatibility and complementarity of the two elements and then exposes the first experimen- tations through university laboratories and opportunities for comparison with other public citizens.
