In 2019 the lecture notes were published by the same author in a book titled “Transportation Law IUS/06”; Lecture Notes 2017/2018 - 2018/2019, Ancona, 2019, ISBN 979-1220044264, which is divided in five parts as the course programme: Transportation Law: General Aspects, Access to the Transportation Market, Contract of Carriage, Travel and Tourism Contracts and Transportation Insurance Law. The present book encompasses a revised, consolidated and updated version of the lecture notes of following fourth parts of the course programme: Access to the Transportation Market, Contract of Carriage, Travel and Tourism Contracts and Transportation Insurance Law. The book also provides for each subject-matter some of the most significant case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union and decisions of the European Commission which have been also examined within the lectures given by the author within the Jean Monnet Module TLCJEU “Transportation Law and Court of Justice of the European Union”, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, during the academic years 2018/2019, 2019/2020 and 2020/2021. The Jean Monnet ModuleTLCJEU consisted of an innovative and comprehensive treatment of EU Transportation Law through a focused analysis of the activity of the Court of Justice of the European Union, which is one of principal European institutions involved in the evolution and harmonization of EU Law process.
