La trace autobiographique dans les textes de Christian Garcin

Christian Garcin is a novelist who also writes about his travels and notebooks. Despite the absence of an explicitly subjective project, the autobiographical trace can be detected throughout the pages by a careful reading of the works. The aim of this study is to define the autobiographical space of the non-narrative works and to consider the constituents of an authorial subject that diffracts and composes itself from one text to the next. The portrait of the author is formed by the small personal notations scattered throughout the books, and this contributes to the establishment of a genuine authorial character.
