This article addresses the issue of multilingualism in audiovisual fiction in relation to translation/adaptation, representations of language and linguistic ideologies. After a presentation of the theme and its numerous stakes (linguistic, aesthetic, economic, translational), the article presents the main (i.e. linguistic, aesthetic, economic, translational) issues at stake, and starting from the analysis of three cases belonging to the French-speaking world (Bad Blood, Mommy, Sofia), we propose an analysis grid of the different subtitling and dubbing strategies for multilingual films.

Cet article aborde la question du multilinguisme dans la fiction audiovisuelle, en relation avec la traduction/adaptation, les représentations de la langue et les idéologies linguistiques. Après une présentation de la thématique et de ses nombreux enjeux (linguistiques, esthétiques, économiques, traductionnels) et à partir de l’analyse de trois cas de figure dans l’espace francophone (Bad Blood, Mommy, Sofia), nous proposons une grille d’analyse des différentes stratégies de sous-titrage et de doublage pour les films multilingues.
