Abstract

The dissemination actions of the research conducted in the Creative Food Cycles project by the research group of the University of Genoa have made use of fresh communication tools, not so commonly applied in the design field. If on the one hand, with a more usual approach, during the two years of activity, prototypes of new products and materials were developed in order to showcase how food waste as a material could give rise to a new generation of products within everyone’s reach and capable of generating a paradigm shift in our daily actions, on the other hand, telling these experiences to a wider audience required open mind and innovation in envisioning new tools.
