As we had the opportunity to present in the introduction of the volume, intercultural teaching is expected to contribute, today with greater strength and impact, also in educational ser- vices of a socio-educational and social character. This is the case in the world of “communities” of those services – mainly resi- dential – that receive minors, and in some cases parents, who for contextual needs must leave the family nucleus (voluntarily or following a court order).
