Hybridization of Scholiastic Classes in the Iliadic Corpus

Within the framework of the studies on the distinction of the Iliad scholia into different classes, some cases are analyzed which display a permeability of materials among classes. The scholia exegetica are specifically addressed, describing the origin of this compilation and its manuscript tradition, and investigating their connection with the D class: the passages taken into consideration allow to prove a certain openness on the part of the scholia exegetica as attested by the b-family (in contrast to the version preserved by ms. T) to influences and intrusions from materials stemming from the D-class.
