The three linear A inscriptions engraved on the plaster wall of room 54 in the north-western quarter of Royal Villa at Haghia Triada (HT Zd 155, 156, 157) very likely belonged to a single text. They were not easy to read, due to their position, just a few centimeters above the floor level. The sequence of two signs (AB 37 - 80, very rarely attested elsewhere) is shared by another inscription, recently identified on a bronze bull figurine from the Piazzale dei Sacelli at Haghia Triada. This second text, which is characterized by exceptionally small-sized signs, was also probably not intended to be read. Some considerations are developed on the function of the two written texts and on the relationship between the North-western quarter of the Villa and the Piazzale dei Sacelli during the neopalatial period.
