In this paper, a technique for local biasing of analog VLSI operator circuits has been discussed. The circuit we refer to is an exponential operator: we designed a bias circuit which locally generates the bias voltage for such operator, compensating for technological process gradients. Theoretical background, circuit implementation and simulation results are presented and discussed.

Abstract
