The study deals with a feasibility study on a renewal and redevelopment project developed on an abandoned industrial and military area (32.4 hectares) located in the Municipality of Falconara Marittima (Italy); this area is located at the point where the Adriatic infrastructural strip joins the infrastructural strip which goes from the coast through the Esino valley and the Apennines to reach the Tevere valley and connect to Rome. These two infrastructural road comprise a national road, a highway and a railway line. The objective of this feasibility study is to implement a preliminary project for a complex area, which requires an in-depth analysis of the situation in order to outline a project that can effectively be implemented to re-adapt and promote the existing area. A Cost-Benefits analysis has been developed on the project’s solutions in order to verify the economic sustainability; the results outlines four potential steps for the implementation of measures in the area.
