In 2012 ICME (International Congress on Mathematical Education) was held in Seoul (Korea). I was appointed as a chair (together with Kristín Bjarnadottir) of the TSG 35 entitled "“The history of the teaching and learning of mathematics”. The chapter is a survey of the activities carried out during the time dedicated to the TSG 35 as well as a survey of the actual and future trends of research in the field of the TSG 35.

Abstract
