This study carried out in the native community of Maime, belonging to yanesha ethnic group. The aim of the study was to investigate on the local availability of medicinal plants and on the loss of related traditional skills. Some lines of action which could help in protecting useful species and ethnobotanical knowledge were identified.

Abstract

This study carried out in the native community of Maime, belonging to yanesha ethnic group.
