The periphrasis remote laboratory experiments in virtual immersive learning environments denotes the ability to offer real-time distance lectures including laboratory sessions, where users (lecturer, tutor, and class of students) can cooperate and interact with real instrumentation that is physically in another place. Cooperation among users and real-time interaction with instruments are enhanced by the adoption of advanced e-learning technologies, such as virtual reality, remote instrumentation services, new input devices, and scene analysis systems able to reproduce highly immersive e-learning environments.

Abstract
