Abstract

The urban environment as a sort of living hypertext, become the scenery where the relationship is experimented between the project and the human behaviours. It enters the creative re-cycle of the urban patrimony, aiming at a development based not on the engulfment of resources, but able to create new ones, through the sharing of knowledge and ways to operate, on the active involvement that often departs from small interventions. What makes a urban context hospitable, what makes it feel surer, what are the levers to be moved for retraining a degraded urban scenery and to innovate the social practices: these are the questions to which an answer is looked through a full understanding of the relationships between the city and its inhabitants who can be both protagonists of the life of the public space and actors of the transformation of the city itself .
