Is it possible for a man who follows the Christian religion to change an oppressive political system through a revolutionary act? How can he oppose a legitimate political power? How can he justify the possible use of violence if the Gospel says "Blessed are the peacemakers"? In his work entitled Personalist and Communitarian Revolution, Emmanuel Mounier tries to answer these questions. In this article I analyze his answers in order to highlight how in his political thought would be the Christian faith itself that spurs the man to the revolution.
