An enviroment for qualitative modelling and simulation of biological system (WQMS) is described. This enviroment results from the integration of the qualitative process theory and of the constraint centered approach and provides both structural and behavioral answers. The latest version of WQMS has been developed in OPS5 within Allegro common LISP on Macintosh II. The present paper describes interface that has been set up to allow for qualitative modelling even by non technical users.
