Abstract: The paper presents and discusses the experimental results taken in a transonic wind tunnel concerning a low deflection turbine blade cascade tested in correspondence of different Mach numbers and incidence angles. The flow visualization apparatus is described evidentiating the peculiarities of the different techniques adopted (shadow, black and white or colour schlieren). Flow visualization pictures are presented and correlated to the aerodynamic analysis.
