Inclusive production of ρ0 and f2 mesons in π− p interactions at 360 GeV/c

We report on a study of ρ0 and f2 inclusive production in π− p interactions at 360 GeV/c, using the LEBC-EHS set-up at CERN and reconstructing about 165000 events. Thergr ρ0, 2 and ρ_3^0 cross sections are determined for x_ F >0 ,x_ F >0.4 and x _F >0.6 respectively and the ρ0 and f 2 Feynman-x distributions and transverse momentum distributions are presented.
