In the present study, the microalga Chlorella vulgaris was cultivated in a tubular photobioreactor at 2%, 4%,8% e 16% concentration of CO2, the specific growth rate and biomass concentration were 0.36, 0.42, 0.34, 0.28 d−1 and 5.84, 8.28, 7.22, 7.26 g/L, respectively. The final concentration of Chlorella vulgaris increased more than five-fold compared with the cultures without CO2-enriched air.
