In classical heritage every artist creates a remake in respect of the “specific” of the ancient model. Is it possible revisiting the most cruel tragedies of Greek Theatre in a comic form? The article shows many cases in which Oedipus and Medea begin motive for laughing , from Umberto Eco until Woody Allen and Francis Ford Coppola (for Oedipus) and from Dario Fo until to Guernica group (for Medea).
